Roger  S. Gerhard, 61, of Orwigsburg, passed away Thursday, August 27th, at Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia. Roger was born in  Pottsville  on November 5, 1958, a son of the late Beryl Eloise (Lee) and Ralph  Gerhard. Roger enjoyed hunting as well as gunsmithing and wood working as a hobby.     He was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies.

Roger is  survived by his son, Adam Gerhard;  sister, Eileen, wife of  Harlan Rump, two brothers, Ralph  and Henry Gerhard.  He is also survived by niece Emily, nephews Ryan, Mike and Evan Gerhard as well as a cousin Leanne Toth.
