Roland R. Martin, 69, of New Ringgold, passed away Tuesday, November 30th, at St. Lukes Allentown Campus after a courageous battle with COPD.
Roland was born in Pottsville, on September 19, 1952, a son of Ralph E. Martin, of Orwigsburg, and the late Helen Ann (Katchmark) Martin.
He was the widower of Tina M. (Tempest) Martin. She passed away in 2018.
He graduated from Blue Mountain High School, Class of 1970.
He previously worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Heim Construction. He also worked for Allen Meyer's construction and had his own business, Martin's Hydro Seeding.
He was a member of the West Penn Rod & Gun Club, the NRA and enjoyed hunting.
Roland is survived by his son, Matthew Martin; his grandson Issaic; Two sisters, Debra, wife of Charles Trubilla and Doreen, wife of Glen Korell; his brother, Timothy Martin, husband of Jacquie.
A visitation  will be held 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, December 7th at Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 6:00 PM, with Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating.
