Rose Fekette, 96, of Orwigsburg, died Sunday at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street.Born in East Brunswick, May 18, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Christina Unas and John Kodlick .She was the widow of John Fekette and a member of St. John's Evangelist Slovak Lutheran Church, Lansford.She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Rosalie; her son, Edward; five Brothers; three sisters.Rose is survived by her granddaughter and caregiver, Brenda Moran; a son, John Fekette; daughter-in-law, Liz, Edward's wife; grandchildren, John, Vaugh, Scott, Randy and Dino Fekette and Rosalie Justus; great-grandchildren, Storm, Steele, Stone, Nicholas, Kiana, Richard and Heather; great-great-granddaughters, Kayla and Lily.Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. Friends are invited to call from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Rose's name, to St. John's Evangelist Slovak Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 18, Lansford, PA 18232. Interment will be at St. John's Slovak Lutheran Church Cemetery, Summit Hill.
