SANDRA L. STROUSE , 68, of Orwigsburg, PA passed away Thursday, September 3rd, while in the company of her husband Dale, at her residence. .

Sandra was born in Pottsville, Pa. on January 3, 1947, a daughter of Ellen R. (Neiswender ) Kauffman, of Orwigsburg, PA and the late Emerson ( Bill ) W. Kauffman .

She was the wife of Dale Strouse . They Married on September 23, 1967.

She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church Orwigsburg, PA and a1964 Blue Mountain Graduate , She Graduated from Empire Beauty School, Pottsville in 1966.

She worked as a Beautician. Sandy also taught beauty school and worked at the Schuylkill County Country Club as a bookkeeper before leaving to raise her children and work as a Bookkeeper for the family business, Strouse brother, Inc., Orwigsburg

In addition to her husband, of 48, years, Dale and her mother Ellen , Sandra is also survived by

a daughter, Jennifer L. , wife of James Gipe

a son,Michael W. , husband of Heather Strouse

Her 5 grandchildren Benjamin, Kira, Wyatt, Jesse and Emmitt

Memorial Service at Faith Worship Center, Orwigsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 10th, with Rev. Regnal S. Leibensperger officiating.

Friends are invited to call Thursday Morning from 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. at Faith Worship Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Orwigsburg Historical Society 109 East Mifflin Street Orwigsburg, PA 17961.

Private Graveside Services will be in Kimmels Cemetery Orwigsburg, at the convenience of the family
