Sheila M. Seltzer, 59, of South Liberty Street, Orwigsburg, passed away while in the company of family members Thursday at St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, Berks County.

She was born in Pottsville, Feb. 11, 1954, the daughter of the late Franklin C. and Mary Jane I. Koch Eckert.

She was the wife of Robert W. Seltzer. They married on July 4, 1986.

She was an interior decorator and was a long time employee of the Forget Me Not Flowers shop in Pottsville. Following this, she was the owner of the former Corner Cupboard Gift Shop in Leiby's Restaurant and in the past few years, she was dedicated to saving unwanted cats and dogs.

Sheila was a Blue Mountain High School graduate, Class of 1972, and also a graduate of The Pottsville Hospital School of Radiology as a technician. She was raised in the Lutheran faith.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of 27 years, Robert, are a brother, Kevin F., husband of Margaret Eckert, Rowlett, Texas; nieces and nephews, including her brother's daughter, Emily Eckert.

Family and friends are invited to call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until the time of religious services at 10 a.m. Tuesday at The Miller Building, 950 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven. Interment services will be held at Schuylkill Memorial Park Inc., Schuylkill Haven.
