Sophia Gambill , 100, of Orwigsburg, passed away peacefully, Monday, December 4th, at Seton Manor Inc.
Sophia was born in Pottsville, on November 24, 1923, a daughter of the late Magdaline (Korslevat ) and Paul Yanchick .
She was the widow of Paul Edison Gambill. he passed away July 11th, 2015.
During her life she was employed as a Bus Driver at the IU School in Pottsville. She practiced the Lutheran faith. In addition to her family, her joys in life were shopping and Bingo.
Sophia is survived by two daughters, Ruth Shadle, of Pine Grove, PA and Gail, wife of John Morris, of The Woodlands, TX.
Sophia is also survived by her grandchildren Denise, wife of Jim Felty; Kelly and Jack Morris; two great grandchildren Devon Young and Nathan Felty; and two great great grandsons Mason Young and Maverick Goul. Sophia is also survived be several nieces and nephews
Sophia was predeceased by her siblings Nick, Michael, Olga and Anna.
Interment Services will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, On Friday February 16th at 2:00 PM
