Truman L. Atkinson, 92, of Red Dale Road, Orwigsburg, passed away peacefully Friday at Seton Manor Inc., Orwigsburg.

Born in Boston, Mass., June 25, 1922, he was a son of the late Truman L. Sr. and Viola G. Smith Atkinson.

He was the widower of the former De Lysle E. Campbell.

He attended the University of Michigan until he enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1943 and served during World War II.

He was the owner and operator of Atkinson Industries, Orwigsburg, and worked until November 2014.

Surviving are daughters, Nancy Weeks and Janis A. Atkinson; and sons, Gary Atkinson, husband of Kathy, and Thomas Atkinson.

Services are private at the convenience of family and entrusted to Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., Orwigsburg.
