Verle A. Koch, 81, of New Ringgold, passed away Saturday, October 7th, at Orwigsburg Center - Genesis Healthcare , Orwigsburg.

Verle was born in Walker Township, PA on April 21, 1936, a son of the late Mollie F. (Ketner) and Atwood H. Koch.

He was the widower of Helen I. (Faust) Koch.

He was a member of Christ Church Mc Keansburg, serving on the consistory, as Sunday school teacher, and in the choir; and a graduate of Cressona High School.

He and late wife Helen founded Koch's Lawn & Garden of New Ringgold, which he operated with his son Tim.

Verle is survived by his two sons Tim Koch, husband of Brenda, of Orwigsburg; Todd Koch, husband of Donna, of Harleysville, PA.

Verle is also survived by his sister Aletha Heinbaugh, wife of Kenneth.

He was preceded by an infant sister June and brothers Floyd and Norwood Koch. He is also survived by Norwood's wife June, and many nieces and nephews.

A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 12th at Christ Church Mc Keansburg , with Rev. Sunny L. Stock officiating. Visitation from 9 until time of service in the church.
