VICKIE S. PFLUEGER , 44, of Orwigsburg, PA, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, July 12th, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, with her husband Jeff by her side after a long battle with cancer.

Born in St. Louis, MO on March 15, 1972, a daughter of Betty (Hornbeck) Mester, of Collinsville, IL and the late Albert Mester .

She was the wife of Jeffrey W. Pflueger . They were married on September 13th, 1991 in Fayetteville, TN.

She graduated from Freeburg High School in 1990 in IL then served her country in the US Army from 1990 to 1994. She worked as a Machine Operator at IWCO Direct Mail in Hamburg, PA for the last 20 years. She was a practicing Buddhist..

In addition to her husband & Mother, Vickie is survived by her son, Alexander X. Pflueger , of New Hope, PA and her Mother-In-Law Karen M. Wanner , of Hamburg, PA.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Orwigsburg, PA, at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 19th

Friends are invited to gather Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home for a time of remembrance.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are being accepted by the funeral home to defray expenses .

Services will conclude with Military Honors at 7:00 PM.
