William J.  (Bill) Pflueger Jr., 68, of Orwigsburg, passed away Saturday, March 25th, at Lehigh Valley Health Network Schuylkill-East, Pottsville.

Bill was born in Pottsville, PA on December 4, 1948, a son of the late Cecelia B. (Yarish) and William J.  Pflueger, Sr.

He was a Blue Mountain High School Graduate, Class of 1966 and was

Raised in the Catholic Faith.

He served in the U.S. Air Force in the Vietnam War.

He worked as a Loom Fixer at Craftex, Auburn, he also worked for Alcoa in Cressona and Bill also worked for Schaeffers Harley-Davidson in Orwigsburg, selling Motorcycles. He was a member of Deer Lake HOG (Harley Owners Group) and the AMA,   American Motorcycle Association.

Bill is survived by two sons Jeffrey W.  And Jerry W.  Pflueger; Grandson   Alexander X. Pflueger. His sister, Carolyn C. Carvalho; Niece Stacy L. Tervo; Grand Nieces Jillian & Hannah Tervo. He was preceded in death by his infant brother James Edward Pflueger.

A Religious Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 30th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, PA with Rev. Msgr.  Edward  S.  Zemanik officiating. Public Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday Evening, March 29th and also Wednesday morning from 9:30 until time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hillside SPCA PO Box 233 Pottsville, PA 17901.

Interment Services will be held at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Inc. Schuylkill Haven.
