William I. Yeich, 68, of Auburn, passed away Sunday, December 31st, at Lehigh Valley Health Network Schuylkill-East, Pottsville. William was born in Auburn on September 21, 1949, a son of the late Clara M. (Schrader) and Warren Harding Yeich. He was the husband of Elizabeth Ella (Whitenack) Yeich. They were married on September 21st, 1974. He was a member of Grace Bible Church, Molino and was a 1967 Graduate of Blue Mountain High School. He then went on to Lancaster School of Bible. William owned Yeich Trucking in the early 70's operating dump trucks in Lancaster County. Later he was an owner operator with his own tractor trailer leased to Ranger Transportation for over 20 years. In addition to Ella, his wife of 43 years, William is survived six sisters, Carol Eckert, Marie, wife of James Hawkins, Mary, wife of Ken Kistler, Darlene Hoy, Ruth Hoy, Barbara, wife of Stephen Dowell and his brother, Donald, husband of Bonnie Yeich. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 5th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, with William L. Patton officiating. Friends and family are invited to call from 9:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street Suite 800, Miami FL 33131. Interment will follow at Zion's Red Church Cemetery Orwigsburg.
