Alan L. Veppert, 65, of Auburn, passed away Sunday, October 14th, at Schuylkill Center - Genesis Healthcare, Pottsville, in the arms of his loving wife, Donna. Alan was born in Ravenna, Ohio on October 4, 1953, a son of Jean F. (Evans) Veppert, of Stow, Ohio and the late Joe Veppert. He was the husband of Donna M. De Pauli. He was raised in the UCC Faith and Graduated from Field High School, Ohio. Alan was employed as an Over the Road Truck Driver for East Penn Manufacturing / Deka Battery, for over 43 years. In addition to his wife and Mother, Alan is survived by his son Joseph Veppert and daughter Jennifer Veppert; 4 Grandchildren; Sister Dorothy Serva, wife of John; Brother James Veppert, husband of Donna and brother Charles Veppert, husband of Joyce. Upon Alan's wishes, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children Attn: Office of Development 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607.in Alan’s Memory.
