Arlene M. (Leymeister) Scheipe

Arlene Mary Scheipe, 97, went home to be with her savior Thursday, March 17th, at Rosewood Nursing Home.

Arlene was born in Auburn, on June 11, 1924, a daughter of the late Laura N. (Miller) and Oscar D. Leymeister.

She was the widow of Donald F. Scheipe

She was raised in the protestant faith and she graduated from Orwigsburg High School, Class of 1942. She was employed as a Machine Operator for Sylray Knitting Mill in Orwigsburg and she was last employed at the Auburn Shoe Factory. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and needlework. She was also a great baker.

Arlene is survived by two daughters, Linda, wife of John Neyer;

Donna, widow of Robert Hough;

Two sons Donald S. Scheipe, husband of Kathryn; Brian L. Scheipe, widower of Linda. Arlene is also survived by her 8 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.

A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 26th, at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, with Pastor William Parrish officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.

An Interment at Auburn Church of God Cemetery will follow services.
