Carl Edward Hufnagle, 88, of Schuylkill Haven passed away Monday, January 14th, at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville. Carl was born in Pottsville January 4, 1931, a son of the late Helen Violet (Schreffler) and Charles Nicholas Hufnagle. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Heilman) Hufnagle. They were married September 12th, 1954. He was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church Schuylkill Haven. He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Carl enjoyed working as a barber at his own barber shop in Schuylkill Haven for over 50 years. He was a member of the Schuylkill & Rainbow Hose Company, North Ward Social Club and a Lifetime member of the Schuylkill Haven American Legion Post #38. Carl maintained the Veterans Monument in Schuylkill Haven for many years. He is survived by a son Gregory Hufnagle, grandchildren Shannon, Rachael, Ashley and Vanessa; Great Grandchildren Bradon, Ava, Roman, Abel, and triplets Jackson, Harper and Scarlett. Carl was predeceased by his son Douglas Hufnagle and siblings Charles, Lorraine, Ruth, Theodore, Robert and Kenneth. A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, January 30th at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Schuylkill Haven. Friends are invited to call from 5:00 PM until time of service.

Interment is private at convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, PA.
