Charles Robert Letcher Obituary

Charles R. (Chuck) Letcher, 59, of Orwigsburg, passed away Saturday, May 8th, at his residence.


Chuck was born in Pottsville on October 2, 1961, a son of the late Beverly Ann (Rennell) and Melvin Stratton Letcher. 


He was a 1979 Graduate of Blue Mountain High School.


He was a past member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Orwigsburg.


Chuck served in the US Army National Guard and worked as a machine operator or the former Rennier Plastic Company, Auburn


He was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed making his own smoked cheese.   He was also an avid hunter and enjoyed collecting antiques.


Chuck is  survived by two daughters, Samantha Letcher and Jacquelynne Letcher as well as his son, Joshua Letcher; sister, Nancy, wife of  Michael Weiss,  brother, Melvin Letcher. He is also survived by grandchildren Calliope & Penelope, nieces, nephews & cousins.


Chuck was predeceased by his son Charles Robert Letcher, Jr. and his nephew Michael Andrew Constanty.

 

A Celebration of Life Service, for Chuck, will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 19th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, with Rev Michael Petrusky officiating. Memorial gathering will start at 9:00 AM


Interment , with Military Honors, at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Inc. Schuylkill Haven.
