David S. Brown

David S. Brown, 81, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday, April 7th, peacefully, at St. Luke's Hospice, Bethlehem. 
David was born in Pottsville, Pa. on March 22, 1945, a son of the late Rebecka (Seidel) and James  Brown. He was also predeceased by his stepfather Thomas Houck, whom he was very fond of.
He was the husband of Georgine " Jeanie"  (Gerhart) Brown. They were married on September 2nd, 1967.
He held various positions during his life but last worked as a Machine Operator at Shalmet Corporation in Deer Lake.
When David was younger he was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He very much enjoyed the company of his wife, Jeanie, for over 59 years. He was always by her side. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins and great nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his son Brett Brown. He was also predeceased by his siblings Mary Moyer, Lois Dresen, Kathryn Burton, Joan Miller, Barry Brown, Wally Brown and an infant brother Richard Brown. Services were private.
