Dr. Richard P. Bindie, 86, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Wednesday, October 16th, at his residence.
Richard was born in Shenandoah on June 29, 1938, a son of the late Pauline (Stanell) and Victor Bindie.
He was the husband of Ada (Herring) Bindie.
He was a graduate of JW Cooper High School, LaSalle University and Temple Medical School with his residency at Germantown Hospital. He worked as a Forensic Pathologist throughout his lifetime.
Richard is survived by two daughters, Paula, wife of Jeff Sterbenz and Barbara Bindie as well as two brothers, Vincent Bindie , husband of Ruth and Albert Bindie, husband of Diane. He was predeceased by son Richard Bindie as well as brothers Robert and John Bindie.
Remembrances in his name can be made to the St. Ambrose Memorial Fund, 201 Randel Street, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972 Private services were entrusted to the Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremations Services, Inc. ,Orwigsburg.
