Earlene (Kickie) Socko, of Orwigsburg, passed away Friday, December 16th, 2022
Kickie was a daughter of the late Phyllis L. (Klingeman) and Albert W. Tripp. She graduated from Blue Mountain High School, Class of 1958.
She was the widow of Stanley (Stash) J. Socko. He passed away August 5th of this year.
Kickie was previously employed with the Allied Chemical Company, which later became M & Q packaging Company. She was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven and was also a member of Solidarity. She enjoyed selling tickets for Blue Mountain Sporting events but her family was her biggest joy. Earlene is survived by her daughter, Karen, wife of Brian Coffey and son William Socko, husband of Lisa.
She is also survived three granddaughters Jessica Coffey-Christiana, wife of Brian; Katelyn Mackey, wife of Matthew and Samantha Monks, wife of Chandler.
Earlene is also survived by her four sisters, Fern, wife of Kenneth Jacoby; Candace, wife of Martin Smith; Barbara Haupt; Lois, wife of Robert Wessner and a brother William Tripp, husband of Nancy.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Patricia (Tricia) Socko and siblings Ruth Nichols, Phyllis Brenneman & Charles (Chuck) Tripp.
An evening visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 28th at Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 29th at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik officiating.
Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Inc. Schuylkill Haven.
