Obituary

Eleanor M. Barron, 94, of Pottsville, formerly of East Railroad Street New Ringgold, passed away Sunday, April 16th, at Seton Manor Inc.
Eleanor was born in Pottsville on October 31, 1928, a daughter of the late Sallie (Heiser) and Irvin Alfred Miller.
She was the widow of Nelson Theodore Barron.
She worked as a Machine Operator many years at Zulick’s Shoe Factory and she enjoyed volunteering at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary.
Eleanor is survived by her two daughters, Susan Barron, of Harrisburg and Sandra Schmit, wife of Michael, of Fleetwood, PA.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Steven Schmit, husband of Jessica; Jeffrey Schmit, husband of Kathy and Lisa Abbinanti, wife of James. Her great grandchildren are Kyler, Molly, Brooke and Joey Schmit; Jacob and Dylan Abbinanti. Eleanor is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by brothers Richard and Clarence Miller and Sisters Edith Miller and Betty Hartman.
Services are private at the convenience of family and entrusted to the Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg.
