Esther K. (Krepps) Teter

Esther K. Teter, 100, of Orwigsburg, passed away Wednesday, October 16th, at Providence Place, Pottsville. Esther was born in McVeytown, PA, on May 10, 1924, a daughter of the late Margaret A. (Rowels) and Elmer Krepps. She was the widow of Warren H. Teter.

Prior to retiring in 1986, she worked as a layout operator at Lucent Technologies for 25 years. Eariler in life she was employed by many local textile factories. She was a member of the Senior Citizens in Orwigsburg & Hamburg as well as the New Ringgold Fire Company. Auxiliary. Esther also enjoyed gardening. She was a member of Christ Church, McKeansburg.

Esther is survived by her son, Marvin Teter, husband of Catherine of Orwigsburg as well as 8 grandchildren , 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Warren, she was preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Noll, brothers James and Clarence Krepps, sister Myrtle Yurenko, as well as infant siblings.

A religious service will be held Monday , October 21 at 11 AM at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Orwigsburg with Rev. John Heim officiating. The public is invited to call from 9 AM until the time of service. Interment will be at a later date.
