Evelyn Epting Obituary

Evelyn Mae Epting, 89, of Orwigsburg, formerly of Hamburg, passed away Friday, July 3rd, at Providence Place Retirement Community, Pottsville. 

Evelyn was born in Hamburg, Pa. on December 17, 1936, a daughter of the late Esther (Bauer) and Arlan  Hartman.

She was the widow of Wayne Calvin Epting.
She worked in the kitchen for the Hamburg State Hospital and she also worked in the textile industry.


Evelyn is  survived by her daughter, Deborah Reber, widow of  James Edwin Reber of Auburn. Two sisters, Jane, widow of  Donald Francis and Regina, wife of  Jack Lee
a brother, Richard Hartman , husband of  Donna.
 

She is also survived by her grandchildren  Michelle, wife of Jeffrey Zimmerman ,Jr. and  Cassy Kline. Her great grandchildren are Colin & Ceira Kline; Savannah Dabashinsky, Adam and Paige Zimmerman. Evelyn is also survived by her Kitty Cat Lily.


A graveside Service will be held at Zion's Church Cemetery, 770 Zion Church Rd, Hamburg,  on Thursday morning July 16, at 10:00.
