Francis (Duke) V. Dukmen, 91, of Hillside, PA, passed away Sunday, September 2nd, at son's Residence, surrounded by family members.
Francis was born in Pottsville, on February 18, 1927, a son of the late Helen (Slavinsky) and John Dukmen.
He was the widower of Ann (Lachler) Dukmen.
He served in the U.S. Army during WW II.
He operated Duke’s Auto Clinic, in Hillside, for many years.
Francis was a member of the Summit Station AMVETS and was PA State Commander 1969 - 70, Veterans Commission in Harrisburg.
Francis is survived by
two daughters, Barbara , widow of John R. Pugh and Marie , wife of Greg Boyer; two sons William Dukmen, husband of Donna and John Dukmen, husband of Rosalyn. His sister, Ruth, wife of Jeff Nase and his brother, Robert Dukmen.
He is also survived by Grandchildren Christopher Boyer, husband of Elizabeth; Timothy Boyer, Husband of Krystal; Jeremy Dukmen, Husband of Sarah; Corinne Berger, wife of Brad; Kyle Dukmen, husband of Julie; Lauren Polanin, wife of Jeffery. 9 Great Grandchildren, Nieces & Nephews.
Francis was predeceased by his brother William T. Dukmen & sister Nancy Brennan. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 7th at Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg. Friends and family will gather from 9:00 AM until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hillside SPCA PO Box 233 Pottsville, PA 17901. Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
