Gary L. Minnich, 76, of Auburn, passed away Tuesday, July 11th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
Gary was born in Auburn, on December 24, 1946, a son of the late Elizabeth (Long) and George Minnich.
He was the husband of Barbara Elaine (Kulp) Minnich. They were married February 25, 1967.
Gary attended Auburn high School. He worked as a machine operator for worked for Hubner Shoe Manufacturing and also for Kepner Scott Shoe Co.
In the 1960s and 70s Gary was a Drag Racer, Biker and Truck Driver. He enjoyed Wild West items, Model cars and collectables.
In addition to Barbara, his wife of 56 years, Gary is survived by his daughter, Beverly Farley and his son, Jamie Minnich, husband of Melissa.
He is also survived by his grandchildren Bryan Nova; Hilario Zarza; Lina, Hazel and Westley Minnich. Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
He was predeceased by his son Gary in 1976 and also his siblings Gladys Turner, Ruth Welsh, Betty Blew, Martha Smale, Georgetta Kriner and Clayton Minnich.
There will be a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 20th at Faith Worship Center in Orwigsburg. A memorial gathering will be from 10:00 until time of service, in the church. Interment will be at St. John's UCC Cemetery Auburn.
