Jean (Sharp) Grube

Regina (Jean) Mary Grube, 89, of New Ringgold, passed away January 4, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Jean was born in Newkirk on February 5, 1932, a daughter of the late Mary (Cunningham) and Cornelius  Sharp.

She was the wife of Carl "Junie" Grube. They were married on 5/23/1953. 

She was a graduate of Tamaqua High School, class of 1949.  

She worked as a homemaker and was also employed at the Atlas Powder Company before raising her family. 

Jean is  survived by two daughters,   Teena, wife of  Roger Koperna and their son Cody; Evagene, wife of  Jerry Cresswell and their daughters Nicole and Kayla (children Cove and  Isla) as well as her son Chris Grube, husband of  Susan and their children Ashley Fogarty and her husband Matt (children Anna and Quinn); Christopher Grube and his wife Tracey (children Grace and Connor) and Emily Grube.   
 
Jean is also survived by her sister Rose Griffiths and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her grandson Matthew Koperna as well as her siblings.

A religious service will be held on Monday, January 10th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg at 7 PM with Deacon John Quirk officiating, public visitation from 6 PM until time of service. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Ringgold Ambulance, PO Box 258  New Ringgold, PA  17960.
