John "Jackie" "Yardbird" Paul, Sr. Obituary

John Paul AKA Jackie, Yardbird, of Millsboro, DE formally of Deer Lake, PA passed away unexpectedly August, 22, 2022. 

Born in Pottsville, John was the son of the late Margaret Paul.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Bass and his brother, Scott Paul. 

John is survived by his wife Mary Louise Watson Paul.  John is also survived by his son Jackie Paul Jr. and wife Corin.  Daughter, Crystal Alspach and husband Rick.  Grandchildren Dawson Schaeffer, Kera and Cole Paul and Deegan Alspach.  Sister, Tammy Chernosky and husband Bud.  Nieces and nephews. 

John was a lifetime member of the Deer Lake & West Brunswick Fire Company.  St. Johns Lodge, Reading PA and the American Legion Post 28 and Amvets Post 22.  Both of Millsboro, DE


A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 11th at Deer Lake & West Brunswick Fire Co. #1. Family and friends may gather from 1:00 PM until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Deer Lake & West Brunswick Fire Co. #1, 1 Ash Road, Orwigsburg, PA  17961
