Jonna L. Steinbrunn, 56, of Orwigsburg, passed away Monday, January 22nd, at Geisinger St. Luke's, Orwigsburg.

Jonna was born in Pottsville on June 15, 1967, a daughter of the late Jane E. (Shuman) and John A. Steinbrunn. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Orwigsburg, and a 1985 graduate of Blue Mountain High School. While at Blue Mountain she was the Class President, Student Council President, and President of Students Against Drunk Driving. She also was a member of the Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society and National Honor Society. In addition she was voted both Prom and Homecoming Queen and participated in both the Track and Swim Teams, as well as the local Rainbow for Girls, and was voted Miss Congeniality as a Winter Carnival Princess.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Shippensburg University in 1989 and was previously employed in sales and customer service.

Some of Jonna's many interests included walking, poetry and singing. She was a past member of the Schuylkill County Chorus.

Jonna is survived by her twin sister Jodi O'Neill, wife of Jeff; sister, Amanda, wife of Robert Koehler, Jr.; and a brother, Jason Steinbrunn, husband of Laurie.

She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews: Jamie Koehler, wife of Jack BeVier; Mitchell Koehler, husband of Kayleigh and their son Hudson Koehler; Jason R. Steinbrunn; Lauren Steinbrunn and her daughter, Gianna; Cara Haws, wife of Nathan, and their children Madison Jones and Liam Haws; Nicholas Steinbrunn; Jessica Gosch, wife of Alex, and their son Rowan; Jennifer O'Neill, fiancé of Ian Donovan, Jacqueline O'Neill, companion of Dillon Dress as well as several cousins.

A Religious Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 3rd, at Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, PA with Jamie Barton officiating. Public visitation will begin at 9:00 AM.

Interment at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Inc. Schuylkill Haven, PA.
