Lois L. Plucker, 93, of Deer Lake, died Friday, January 18th, at the Reading Hospital.
Lois was born in Schuylkill Haven, on May 17, 1925, a daughter of the late Mary (Keller) and Gordon A. Fisher.
She was the wife of the late William B. Plucker.
Lois was a Hamburg High School Graduate, Class of 1943 and a member of Zion's Red Church Orwigsburg.
She was employed as a Secretary for the former Jones & Hunt Inc. Orwigsburg for 20 years and retired in 1990. She also worked for the former Price Battery Corp and the PA Electric Steel Casting Co, both in Hamburg.
Lois is survived by her a daughter, Susan Moyer, wife of Steven; her son, David W. Plucker, husband of Christine.
She is also survived by Grandchildren, Step Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Step Great Grandchildren and numerous Nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded by her sister, Shirley A. Liber.
A Celebration of Life Service for Lois will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 26th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, with Pastor James R. Fidler officiating. Friends may gather from 10:00 AM until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion’s Red Church, PO Box 334, Orwigsburg, PA 17961.
Interment will be in Zion’s Red Church Cemetery, Orwigsburg.
