Lori Ann Reichart, 61, of Shoemakersville, passed away Wednesday, August 10th, at her residence, “Not late, but on time”.
Lori was born in Anderson, Indiana, on November 5, 1960, a daughter of the late Alberta (Petit) Williams and Jay Williams.
Lori graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1978. She was retired from the United States Navy as a chief petty officer after 20 years and also worked for the Boyscouts of America for 18 years, retiring in 2018.
She was the wife of Curtis Allen Reichart, Sr.. They were married February 13, 1982, after meeting in Atsugi, Japan, while serving in the United States Navy for over 20 years together.
Lori is survived by her daughter, Amanda Richards, wife of Shane, of Mt. Holly Springs and granddaughter Michaela; son Curtis Reichart, Jr, husband of Jennifer of Spring, Texas, and grandson Benjamin and granddaughter Ryleigh and as well as son Shawn Reichart , husband of Korin , of Orwigsburg and grandson Hunter and granddaughter Vada.
Lori would have felt her greatest accomplishments in life were her children and grandchildren.
She is also survived by sister Pam and her husband Danny Layton of Florida, brother Jay Williams and his wife Ann of Indiana, sister Mary Hart of Indiana, brother Tommy Williams and his wife Mary of Minnesota, brother Bobby Williams and his wife Norma of Florida, sister Donna Snow of Canada as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sister Susan Ward and stepmother Rosie Williams.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
