Louis " Nick" Damore, III Obituary

Louis D. "Nick" Damore III, 61, of McKeansburg, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024, at his residence.

Born on November 10, 1962, in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Marcia E. (Reed) and Louis Dominick Damore, Jr.

Nick was a Blue Mountain High School Graduate, Class of 1981 and earned his bachelor's degree from Albright College.

He was a passionate sports fan, cheering the loudest for the Minnesota Vikings and the Oklahoma Sooners. He was an avid fisherman, and early in his life, he was a “deadhead” and enjoyed sports wagering.

Nick is survived by his brother, Michael Damore, husband of Tammy, of Pottsville, PA, two sisters: Lisa Damore, of Dallas, PA and Leslie Traube, widow of Donald, of Dallas, PA.

He is also survived by his nieces & nephews Dann Ward, husband of Corie, Kristin Schmucker, wife of Jeremy, Courtney Villarreal, wife of Allen, Kendra Craig, wife of Josh, and Philip Traube, husband of Meredith, along with numerous great nieces & nephews.

A Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 10th at Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM until time of service.

Interment will follow in St. Johns United Church of Christ Cemetery Orwigsburg.
