Marie Helene (Beinhauer) MacCorkle

Marie Helene MacCorkle, 78, of Orwigsburg, passed away Thursday, October 7th, at her residence. 

Marie was born in Philadelphia, on January 14, 1943, a daughter of the late Agnes (Willox) and William Irwin Beinhauer.
She was the wife of Walter MacCorkle, II. They were married on February 27th, 1963. 

She was employed as a Bank teller before working in the family business. Anyone who knew her will remember her by her sense of humor and witty one liners.  

Marie enjoyed being a homemaker, camping with her Rosemount family  and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 
In addition to her husband, Marie is survived by her two daughters, Renea MacCorkle, of Pottsville, PA;  Colleen Golden, of Philadelphia, PA;  a son, Walter MacCorkle, III, of Orwigsburg, PA with whom she resided.  

She is also survived by four sisters, Barbara, widow of Ronald Cianni; Helen, wife of John Travis; Betty, widow of Marty Chappell and June Walters. She was preceded in death by her brother William Beinhauer.

 
She is also survived by her four grandchildren  Marrissa LaScala, wife of Christopher;Samantha Kalyan, companion of Dan Walter; Andrew MacCorkle; Chase Golden. Her great grandchildren are Landon & Lucy LaScala. She is also survived by her cherished sister-in-law Barbara Vogt along with other family members, nieces and  nephews and her caregivers over the past year who have become family.  

There will be a religious service at Noon on Friday October 15th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. Orwigsburg. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of Service. Internment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be private.
