Mildred "Millie" (Kistler) Boyer

Mildred " Millie " D. Boyer, 85, of New Ringgold, formerly of South Liberty Street, Orwigsburg passed away Sunday, September 28th, at her residence with her family at her side.

Millie was born in New Ringgold on July 30, 1940, a daughter of the late Dorothy Irene (Burkey) Kistler and Harold Issac Kistler.

She was the widow of Robert C. Boyer.

She attended Tamaqua Area High School and worked as a folder in the textile industry and she was also a cap loader for the Atlas Powder Company in Tamaqua. 

Millie is  survived by her daughter Diane Kimmel, sons Terry Boyer, husband of Mary, and Robert Shappell, of Orwigsburg.

She was preceded in death by her sons Ricki Boyer, Randy Boyer and Ryan Boyer and daughters Christine Boyer and Debbie Kistler

A Religious Service will be held on Thursday, October 9th at 11:00 AM at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Orwigsburg. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery,  Annville.
