Myrtle E. Drobnick, 96, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away, Tuesday, February 1st, at her residence with family by her side.
Myrtle was born in Orwigsburg, on April 1, 1925, a daughter of the late Christie (Orf) and George Kohler.
She was the widow of Thomas John Drobnick.
She was a member of Welcome United Methodist Church, Landingville.
Before becoming a Homemaker, she worked as a Sewing Machine operator in local textile mills. Myrtle enjoyed Crocheting. She made Lap covers for local nursing homes & the VA Hospital. She also liked doing puzzles and quilting. She liked watching the birds and the Squirrel.
Myrtle is survived by her daughter, Eileen, wife of Dave Thompson, of Schuylkill Haven.
Four sons John Drobnick, husband of Sharon, of Washington State; Randy Drobnick, husband of Judy, of Schuylkill Haven; Daniel Drobnick, husband of Kathleen, of Orwigsburg; Kyle Drobnick, husband of Loretta, of New Ringgold.
Myrtle is also survived by her11 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson.
She was preceded in death by her sons David and James Drobnick and her Grandsons Jeremy & Todd Drobnick. She is also predeceased by her sisters Florence Mengle , Sara Drumheller and her brother Edward Teichman.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 7th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, PA with Pastor Timothy Christman officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until time of service. Interment services will follow, in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Inc. Schuylkill Haven.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Welcome United Methodist Church 107 Main Street Landingville, PA 17972.
