Phyllis A. (Gassert) Frey

Phyllis A. Frey, 82, of Pottsville, formerly of Schuylkill Haven, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 23rd, at her residence.

Phyllis was born in Windsor Township on December 17, 1943, a daughter of the late Hilda Mae (Gassert) Kramer.

She was raised in the Protestant Faith.

Phyllis worked as a sewing machine operator at Havenline Casket Company for 23 years. She enjoyed coloring and puzzles.

Phyllis is survived by a daughter, Patti Frey, companion of Kenneth Heckman;

son, Warren Frey, widower of Kathy; two brothers, Lester Gassert and Allen Kramer; grandchildren Angelica, Warren Jr., Anthony, Scott, and Nicole.

She was preceded in death by a baby sister, Rosalie Kramer.

A Religious Service will be held at 6 PM on Monday, June 29th at Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg. A public viewing will be held from 4 PM until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA 18 Wertz Dr Pine Grove, PA 17963.

Private interment will be at Zion's Red Church Cemetery, Orwigsburg.
