Robert Joseph Myers

Robert “Jos” J.  Myers, 70, of New Ringgold,  formerly of Norristown, passed away August 31, 2023. 

Robert was born in Philadelphia, on November 18, 1952, a son of the late Marcia Mary (Salmons) and Robert James Myers.

He was the widower of Donna J. (Weigner)  Myers. She passed away May 18, 2019. They were married for over 47 years.

He was of the Christian faith. Robert  graduated from Norristown Area High School, Class of 1970 and attended Montgomery County Community College. He was a guitar teacher for over 30 years.

Robert  is  survived by his son, Joshua Myers, husband of  Joann; sister, Dorothy Myers and a brother, Albert Myers , husband of  Darlene.
He is also survived by his grandchildren  Anthony Schulz, Johann Myers and Julianna Myers and his great grandson Anthony Schulz, Jr.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. John's United Church of Christ in Orwigsburg, with Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating on Thursday, September 7 at 11 AM.  A memorial Gathering will begin at 9:30 AM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Orwigsburg Area Free Public Library, 216 West Independence Street, Orwigsburg, PA 17961.
