Ruth Matilda (Tyson) Wagner Brodhead

 Ruth Matilda (Tyson) Wagner Brodhead, 92, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away peacefully Monday, May 17th, at her residence, surrounded by family.

Ruth was born in Reading, on April 7, 1929, a daughter of the late Ruth (Lenhart) Tyson and Samuel Elliott Tyson II.

She was the widow of Bickley Burns Brodhead. She was also predeceased by her first husband Albert M. Wagner in 1983.
Ruth was a member of Welcome United Methodist Church Landingville and
She graduated from Reading high School in 1947 and Albright College in 1951 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics.

Ruth is survived by her Children, Anna Wagner-Sauber, wife of Todd and Peter Wagner. Ruth’s grandchildren are Allison Wagner, Emily Wagner-Goveo and Emma Kleckner. She is also survived by her late husband’s children & Families; Janet & Shaune Morely; Lois & David Freese and their children Zoe Cline; Samantha Higgins; Josh Freese & Bob Freese; niece Kathy (Tyson) Davey, wife of Larry.

Ruth was preceded in death by her son J. Andrew Wagner & her brother Samuel Elliott Tyson, III.

A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 11th at Welcome United Methodist Church in Landingville, with Pastor Timothy Christman officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until time of service, in the church. Interment will follow at Park Hill Cemetery, Landingville.
