Steven Orlosky Obituary

Steven Orlosky, 94, of Orwigsburg, passed away Friday, November 21st, at Geisinger St. Luke's, Orwigsburg in intensive care where he was a patient for just over a day.


Steve was born in Kaska on January 20, 1931, a son of the late Mary (Husick) and Steven Orlosky. He was one of eight children, (four boys & 4 girls).


Steve was married to Sally (Heim) the love of his life, for over 72 years, until her passing on October 30 of this year.


Steve graduated from Blythe High School, Class of 1949. After graduation he went to work at what became to be Schuykill Products in Cressona for a short time. Steve then enlisted in the US Army and served in Panama. After his service time he returned to Schuylkill Products and worked for over 50 years, retiring in 2013 from Northeast Prestressed Products at the age of 82.


He was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven. 


Steven is  survived by two sons Steven E. Orlosky, husband of  Donna and Leonard Heim, husband of  Joanne; two sisters Helen Balulis (PA) and Mary Jacelin (MD); five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter, nieces and nephews.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 9th at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven with Rev. Msgr.  Edward  S.  Zemanik  officiating. A public visitation will be held from 9:15 to 10:15 AM 


Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Inc. Schuylkill Haven.
