Barbara  L.   Hess , 89, formerly of New Ringgold, PA, passed away Tuesday, July 26th, at Orwigsburg Center - Genesis Healthcare , Orwigsburg.

Born in Pottsville, Pa. on August 27, 1926, a daughter of the late Ada  Huntzinger Bachman  and Edward   Bachman.

She was the widow of Norman  F.  Hess. He passed in 2007

She was a Orwigsburg High Graduate and a member of Christ Church Mc Keansburg

She worked as a Machine Operator for Fessler's Knitting Mill, Orwigsburg.

She was preceded by her daughter Linda M. Mayers who passed away April 2, 2013

Barbara  is  survived by

Son  Edward  J. , husband of   Lynn Hess, of New Ringgold, PA;

Son  Robert  F.  Hess , of New Ringgold, PA;

Grandson  Scott  A.  Mayers , of Orlando, FL

Great Grandson  Finn  Mayers of Orlando, FL

Sisters Florence ( Flossy) Bindley , Orwigsburg & Eleanor Wessner, New Ringgold.

Religious Service at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Orwigsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Friday July 29th with Rev. Sunny L. Stock officiating.

Friends are invited to call Friday from 9:30 AM until time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Church

 Mc Keansburg 6 South Race Street New Ringgold, PA 17960.

Interment will follow in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Inc. Schuylkill Haven, PA.
